MESSAGE IN A BOTTLE
It's been weeks since we last saw our captain...marooned on this island which we believe to be the uncharted island of Isla di Muerta...the crew has lost hope...Captain Rob Sparrow was at the helm of the ship valiantly steering through an ungodly typhoon...just as it seemed he had guided us through the worst of it a gigantic wave rose up and smashed him off of the upper decks and into the fierce belly of the Spanish Maine. Shortly after the storm subsided we began sending out teams to scan in small rafts from debris from the ship to try and find our noble leader. It was to no avail...and what was worse as I the ship's first mate rounded up the crew it was discovered that we'd sprung a leak and Noah's Dove would soon be joining Davey Jones locker...so we pointed ourselves southwest according to our nautical charts it would take us to what has been our home these past several weeks...the dreaded Isla di Muerta. Having killed most of the billygoats known to frequent this dreaded rock we with only a few barrels of rum left have drifted into a sea of despair...two of our mates already fought to the death over who was entitled to the last bits of dessert aboard the ship...imagine their surprise when they both watched each other die from fatal gunshots(all over a chocolate chip cookie...poor lads maybe if they'd known it wasn't really Otis Spunkmeyer cookies they were fightin fer rather cheap imitations)...so I have written this account that perhaps someday someone will find this message in a bottle and perhaps post it on some form of public journal for millions to read...as I sit here I wonder what happened to our Captain? will he return? perhaps he will return aboard some vast vessel he's commandeered right out from under some naive group of sailors...for some reason I don't think we've seen the last of our dear captain...I hope to God we haven't...three cheers and a yo ho ho and a bottle of rum to Captain Rob Sparrow and his quick return.
